Kamogawa, ChibaKamogawa (Japanese: 鴨川市; -shi) is a city located in Chiba, Japan. As of 2003 data (but including size and population increases due to the merger with Amatsukominato), the city has an estimated population of 37,018 and the density of 194 persons per km². The total area is 191.30 km². The city was founded on March 31, 1971. On February 11, 2005 the former town Amatsukominato from Awa District merged with Kamagawa. External links
