Kamen Rider Kuuga

Kamen Rider Kuuga (Japanese 仮面ライダークウガ) is a tokusatsu superhero TV series under the popular Kamen Rider franchise. It is a joint collaboration between Ishimori Productions and Toei, and was shown on TV Asahi from January 30, 2000 to January 21, 2001.

Trivia

The name "Kuuga" derived from the word "kuwagata" (クワガタ), the Japanese equivalent of stag beetle, after which the character design was modelled.
