Kaluga (Fish)

Kaluga (Huso dauricus) (various groups of sturgeons) are large predatory fish found in the Amur River basin. Also known as the Great Siberian Sturgeon, they are claimed to be the largest freshwater fish in the world, with a maximum weight of at least 1000 kg. Kaluga caviar comes from the Kaluga sturgeon.
