Kakakhel

A small but prominent Pushtun tribe is the Kakakhel or "Kakakhel Miangaan" living in Ziarat Kaka Sahab, a valley near Nowshera. Ancestors of this tribe were Arabs, who migrated to Central Asia, entering Afghanistan and Pakistan in early 17th century. This tribe enjoys a special religious status because of their forefather Kaka Sahib (Also known as "Sheikh Rahamkar". Kisteer Gul was his real name.) The ratio of educated people in this tribe is comparatively very high.
