K. Karunakaran

K. Karunakaran (born July 5, 1918) is an Indian politician, member of the Indian National Congress. He was born in Kerala, India. He has been in active politics since the 1940s. He was elected 7 times to the Kerala legislative assembly between 1965 and 1995. He was a member of the Congress Working Committee since 1969 and now he is special guest to the committee. In 1995, he was elected to the Rajya Sabha and served as the minister of industries in the Cabinet. He has been the Chief Minister of Kerala for 4 times. He has been blamed by his opponent for dynasty politics
