K. K. Downing

K.K. Downing was born as Kenneth Keith Downing on October 27, 1951 in Walsall, England. Guitarist and founding member of British heavy metal pioneers Judas Priest, Downing has been noted for his wild solos, solid rhythm and legendary lead duet with fellow Priest guitarist Glenn Tipton. Together with his schoolmate and fellow Priest founding member Ian Hill (bass), K.K. has been solely dedicated to the band for more than 35 years - a rock n' roll longevity achievement in its own right.
