Junior Vasquez

Junior Vasquez is a famous New York club DJ and remixer/producer. His early work was under the guidance of the legendary Shep Pettibone. Where Shep left off in the 1980s, Vasquez picked up in the 1990s. Known for his public falling out with Madonna in 1996 after a long friendship said to be due to his production and release of the song called "If Madonna Calls". It featured a Madonna sound-a-like imitating Madonna on Junior's answering machine backed by deep tribal house rhythms. She did not approve.
