jungle aviation and radio service

Jungle Aviation and Radio Service supports missionaries and linguists with transportation to remote areas and communication. It is located in Waxhaw, North Carolina and affiliated with Summer Institute of Linguistics. JAARS has a shop where airplanes are retrofitted with large doors and tuned up. The shop has a warning notice in tok Pisin: Husat man i wok long dispela masin i mas putim sefti glas. (Whoever works on this machine must wear safety glasses.)
