Juncus

see text Juncus is a genus of the Juncaceae family. It consists of about 225 species of grassy plants commonly called rushes. They occur in all wet regions of the world, but rarely in the tropics. Most are not used as ornamental plants and are in gardening often considered annoying weeds.
