Julian Gray

Julian Gray (born September 21, 1979) began his career with Arsenal as a trainee, although he made the switch across London to join Crystal Palace for 500,000 in 2000. Since then he was instrumental in The Eagles' success and played a major part in helping them achieve promotion in the 2003/04 season, despite missing the play-off final through suspension. Despite his successes during that season the Lewisham-born midfielder spent a month on loan with Cardiff City. However, in June 2004, this particular Eagle flew the nest, signing for Birmingham City on a free transfer. Most at Birmingham City believe that Julian could be the surprise package of the Premiership for the 2004/05 season and if the pre-season is anything to go by they are not wrong. Steve Bruce, the clubs manager, has recently tipped him for an England career. Gray, Julian Gray, Julian
