Julian Cope

Julian Cope came to prominence as singer of Liverpool (UK) pop band The Teardrop Explodes in 1980. He has since released many solo albums, two volumes of autobiography and a large and comprehensive book (The Modern Antiquarian) detailing stone circles and ancient monuments in the British Isles. This book was followed in 2004 with a study of monuments across much of Europe entitled The Megalithic European.
