Jules De Grandin

Jules de Grandin is a fictional supernatural detective created by Seabury Quinn for Weird Tales magazine. Assisted by Dr Trowbridge (a Dr Watson like figure), de Grandin fought ghosts, werewolves, satanists, etc. in over 90 stories between 1925 and 1951. Jules de Grandin and Dr Trowbridge lived in Harrisonville, New Jersey. Often, the supernatural entities in the mysteries are revealed to be not supernatural, but the actions of insane, evil, depraved human beings.
