Jukka-pekka Saraste

Jukka-Pekka Saraste (born April 22, 1956) is a Finnish conductor. He was chief conductor of the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra from 1987-2001. He was musical director of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra from 1994-2001. Regarded as a champion of Finnish music, he recorded the complete works of Jean Sibelius with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
