Jrg Sievers

Former goalkeeper of the German football (soccer) club Hannover 96 (Hanover 96). Sievers played for the club for more than 10 years, primarily playing in the German 2nd division (2. Bundesliga). Sievers stayed with the club through a relegation to 3rd division. The highlights of his career with the club was winning the DFB-Pokal in 1992 by a 4:3 i.P. against Borussia Mnchengladbach, and the promotion to the Bundesliga 2002 Also famous from the song "Jrg Sievers Blues" by the German band Fury in the Slaughterhouse.
