Joseph W. Mcclurg

Joseph Washington McClurg (February 22, 1818 - December 2, 1900) was a Governor of Missouri, United States. He was a Republican. McClurg was born near Lebanon, Missouri in 1818. He taught school in Louisiana and Mississippi in the 1830s, and then moved to Texas and moved back into Missouri in 1841. He served as a U.S. Representative from Missouri between 1863 and 1868.
