Josef Zemp

Josef Zemp (September 2, 1834 - December 8, 1908) was a Swiss politician. He was elected to the Federal Council of Switzerland on December 17, 1891 and handed over office on June 17, 1908. He was affiliated to the Christian Democratic People's Party. During his office time he held the following departments: He was President of the Confederation twice in 1895 and 1902.
