Josef Escher

Josef Escher (September 17, 1885 - December 9, 1954) was a Swiss politician. He was elected to the Federal Council of Switzerland on September 14, 1950 and handed over office on December 9, 1954. He was affiliated to the Christian Democratic People's Party. During his office time he held the Department of Posts and Railways.
