Joniskis

Jonikis is a town in Northern Lithuania with a population of about 12,400. It is 40 kilometers north of iauliai and 14 kilometers south of the Lithuanian Latvian border. Jonikis is also the municipal and administrative center of Jonikis Region, known for the fertility of its soil and for the extensive agricultural development. There are seven educational institutions in Jonikis: Jonikis Secondary School No. 2, Matas Slančiauskas Gymnasium, Aura Gymnasium, Jonikis Youth School, Jonikis Agricultural School, Sports School, and Art School.
