jonathan clements

Jonathan Clements is a British writer and translator. His non-fiction works include "", "Anime Encyclopeida" and "Pirate King". He also writes fiction, such as the "Strontium Dog" series, "Doctor Who: Sympathy for the Devil" audio drama and several "Judge Dredd" scripts. Clements is fluent in both Chinese and Japanese, and many of his works relate to East Asia. He has been a consultant on several projects concerning Japanese pop culture and translated manga and anime into English. In 2000, he received the Japan Festival Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Understanding of Japanese Culture. Clements was born in 1971. He lives in London and in Jyvskyl, Finland.
