jokin ormaetxea

Jokin Ormaetxea Badiola (May 26, 1980 - October 24, 2004 near San Sebastian, Spain) was a Spanish professional cyclist who rode for Team Paternina-Costa de Almera. Ormaetxea was a passenger in an Audi3 driven by fellow cyclist Joseba Albizu Lisazo of Team Euskaltel-Euskadi when the car turned over after leaving the road near the town of Deba at approximately 6:40 am. The two were celebrating the end of the racing season. Albizu is still hospitalized with severe injuries but are not life-threatening.
