John Taylor (Taylor Ham)

John Taylor (1837-1909) created Taylor Ham. He was also the founder of Taylor Provisions Company and the Taylor Opera House in Trenton, New Jersey. (Taylor Street in that city is also named for him.) He helped to abolish the street markets of New Jersey, and served as the first president of the Inter-State Fair. He is buried in Riverview Cemetery, Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey.
