John Sullivan (U.s. Rep)

John A. Sullivan (born January 1, 1965) is an American politician. He has represented Oklahoma's First Congressional District (map) in the United States House of Representatives since 2002, when he upset Cathy Keating, wife of then-Governor Frank Keating, in a special election to replace Steve Largent, who resigned to focus on his bid to succeed Frank Keating as Governor. Sullivan previously served seven years in the Oklahoma House of Representatives. A fourth-generation native of Oklahoma, he was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
