Sir John Morris-Jones (1864 - 1929) was a Welsh grammarian and poet. While at the University of Oxford, Morris-Jones co-founded the Cymdeithas Dafydd ap Gwilym (the Dafydd ap Gwilym Society) (1886). In 1895 he became Professor of Welsh at the University College of North Wales, Bangor, a post he held until his death.
