John Friedrich Hohenberger

John Friedrich Hohenberger was Chief Executive Officer of the National Safety Council in Victoria, Australia. He conned a couple of banks out of 236 million Australian dollars by using fictitious collateral to borrow secured loans. Six years after becoming CEO his scam was uncovered and he commited suicide before he could be brought to trial.
