joe schriner

Joseph Charles Schriner (b. March 3, 1955) (aka "average Joe" Schriner) is an Independent candidate for President of the United States. A resident of Bluffton, Ohio, Schriner ran in the 2000 and 2004 U.S. Presidential elections and has already begun campaigning for the 2008 race. Schriner graduated from Bay Village High School in 1973. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Bowling Green State University in 1978. After several years as a journalist and drug counselor, he traveled around United States looking for people who had developed creative, common-sense programs to help their communities. After 8 years on the road he developed his idea to run for the presidency. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he is married and has three children.
