Jimbocho

Jimbochō (神保町, also romanized as Jinbochō) is an area of Chiyoda Ward in Tokyo, Japan, known primarily as a center of used book stores, as well as publishing houses and a university. It is accessible via Jinbochō Station on the Tokyo Metro Hanzōmon Line, Tōei Mita Line and Tōei Shinjuku Line. The name is said to have originated from a samurai, Nagaharu Jimbō, who lived in the area at the end of the 17th century. Anime series Read or Die and its sequel have parts of a storyline situated to Jimbochō.
