Jerome Dillon

Jerome Dillon was born July 9th, 1969 in Columbus, Ohio. He attended Northland High School until 1987 when he graduated and moved on to a college for the Arts. Next Dillon joined his cousin's band Nevermor for a bit.

Road to Nine Inch Nails

By 1994 he had joined a pop/rock band by the name of Howlin' Maggie. He was the drummer, and the band reached small time fame, but eventually broke up for "career reasons". In 1999 while visiting family in Columbus he was told by his manager to audition for Nine Inch Nails, who had just lost previous drummer Chris Vrenna. "She asked if I was interested in being in Nine Inch Nails, I would have been interested in being houseboy in the studio." Only three days after sending in some of his material he recieved a call to audition for Trent Reznor and the rest of the band. ''"I thought it was going to be the same thing all over again. Instead, I walked in and it was more of just a conversation with me ''and the band. They liked where I was coming from musically, and they thought it was conducive to the direction of the new record."'' And soon word had quickly spread the Dillon had landed the job
