Jeremi Michał Wiśniowiecki (1612-1651) - Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth szlachcic, prince at Wiśniowiec, Łubny and Chorol, magnate, military commander, voivode of Ruthenian Voivodship from 1646. Father of future monarch Michał Korybut Wiśniowiecki. He gained military experience in several wars and campaings: Smolensk Campaign of 1633-1634, against rebelious Cossacks in 1637-1638, against Tatars in 1640-1646, against Chmielnicki Uprising in 1648-1651, commanding defence of Zbaraż in 1649, and in the battle of Beresteczko in 1651.
