Jean-marc Bosman

Jean-Marc Bosman (born October 30, 1964) is a former Belgian football (soccer) player, whose challenge of the football transfer rules lead to the Bosman ruling that completely changed the way footballers are transferred, allowing professional players in the European Union to move freely to another club at the end of their term of contract with their present team. See Bosman ruling for complete details.
