Jane Elliot (born January 17, 1947 in New York, New York) is an American actress. She has played Tracy Quartermaine on two TV series: General Hospital (1978-1980, 1989-1993, 1996, 2003-present) and The City (1996-1997). She has also had other roles on several other daytime and prime time soap operas, such as Judy Trent on Knots Landing (1980-1981), Carrie Todd Marler on Guiding Light (1981-1982), Cynthia Preston Chandler Cortlandt on All My Children (1984-1986), and Anjelica Deveraux on Days of Our Lives (1987-1989). She has also had guest-starring roles on several TV crime dramas, such as N.Y.P.D., The Mod Squad, The Bold Ones, Kojak, Barnaby Jones, Police Woman, and two different characters on Law & Order. In 1981, she won a Daytime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Actress in a Supporting Role in a Daytime Drama Series" for her work on General Hospital after her departure in 1980, and has two other nominations to date. In 1992, she won a Soap Opera Digest Award for "Outstanding Supporting Actress: Daytime", also for GH. Previously, in 1990, she had won her first Soap Opera Digest Award, this time for "Outstanding Villainess: Daytime", for her work on Days of Our Lives.
