James Salter

James Salter (born 1925) is an American short story writer and novelist. Salter served in the U.S. Air Force as a fighter pilot which included many missions in the Korean War. He used his Korean experience for his first novel, The Hunters, (1956). Salter published a collection, Dusk and Other Stories in 1988. Salter, James
