. He also composed the music for the film,
Falling Down
and the theme song for the popular television series

. His most current movie score for Shyamalan's "
The Village
" was nominated for an Academy Award; although it lost the Oscar to
Jan A. P. Kaczmarek
(and his "
Finding Neverland
").
