James Maxwell (Actor)

James Maxwell (23 March, 1929 - 18 August, 1995) was an actor, best known for his television appearances, usually in minor roles. He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, USA, but spent most of his career in the UK and died in London. His best-known part was as King Henry VII in a BBC2 drama series, Shadow of the Tower, which failed to have the same popular success as its predecessor, The Six Wives of Henry VIII.
