James LaffertyJames Lafferty is an American actor and an athlete he plays on the WBs teen television show One Tree Hill. He plays the star basketball player on his Varsity Basketball team who is also a newly wed to costar Bethany Joy Lenz. He was born July 25, 1985 in Hemet, California. He played basketball all through his high school years and was named MVP of his team. He got started acting and doing extra work at age seven after his moms friend told her about her daughters doing it. He has been in a few films and TV shows.
