Jalways

JALways is an airline subsidiary of Japan Airlines. It specializes in flights between major Japanese cities and island resorts in the Pacific Ocean. Its flight crews are based in Honolulu, Hawaii and are predominantly American, while its cabin attendants are trained and based in Bangkok, Thailand and are predominantly Asian. JO operates independently of JAL, but shares livery and interline benefits: this is primarily to avoid the higher labor costs of JAL's Japanese crews and maintenance. Because JALways operates to resort locations, most JALways planes have the word "Reso'cha" (Super Resort Express) on the plane. Also, the flight attendant unifoms have a tropical theme.
