Jalebi

Jalebi is a sweet common in South India and hawked all over city streets. It is easy to make, assuming you can make the batter the night before. The batter is then deep fried in large, chaotic pretzel shapes and then soaked in syrup. Jalebis are best served warm and dripping. See also Indian cuisine
