Jagodina

Jagodina (Јагодина) is a city located in Serbia and Montenegro at 43.98° North, 21.26° East. Its name stems from word strawberry in Serbian. In 2003 the city has total population of 35600. It is the administrative center of the Pomoravlje District of Serbia. Jagodina's mayor is Dragan Markovic 'Palma', who was earlier associated with Arkan's Party of Serbian Unity . 'Palma' was elected mayor in october 2004. Previously, the Democratic Party of Tadic had the power in Jagodina.
