Jagged Little Pill was Canadian singer/songwriter Alanis Morissette's third album, released on June 13, 1995 (see 1995 in music). Morissette's confessional lyrics and emotional vocals helped Jagged Little Pill dominate the year's sound in music. It spawned six massively successful hit singles: Jagged Little Pill won Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album and Album of the Year. The record has sold 30 million copies worldwide. It is the second best-selling album of the Soundscan era. In 1998 Q magazine readers voted Jagged Little Pill the 19th greatest album of all time.
