Jack LordJohn Joseph Patrick Ryan (December 30, 1920–January 21, 1998), best known by his stage name Jack Lord, is noted for his performances as an actor on television and film, most notably for his starring role as Steve McGarrett on Hawaii Five-O. Lord also appeared as Felix Leiter in the James Bond film Dr. No, and was an accomplished artist: the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the British Museum of Modern Art each own a painting by him.
