Jack Hutton

Jack Hutton is a ragtime pianist living in Bala, Ontario, Canada, nicknamed Bushy Eyebrows due to his large white eyebrows. Along with his wife Linda Jackson-Hutton, Jack owns and operates two local establishments: The Inn at Roselawn and Bala's Museum With Memories Of Lucy Maud Montgomery. The latter contains history and artifacts of the Muskoka region as well as information on Canadian author L. M. Montgomery who though most famously wrote the Anne of Green Gables series, also wrote one book not based in Prince Edward Island: The Blue Castle. Montgomery vacationed with her family in Bala for 2 weeks in 1922 and based the 1926 book on the region as she loved it so much. Hutton also co-wrote a book with his wife, entitled Lucy Maud Montgomery And Bala: A Love Story Of The North Woods, printed by Watts Printing in Gravenhurst, Ontario. ISBN 0-9683934-0-3 is a regional one, but can be found online at Canadian sites.
