Cavour (formerly Andrea Doria) is a planned Italian aircraft carrier. Cavour was launched on July 20, 2004, and is named after the Italian politician Count Camillo Benso di Cavour. Concept/Program: A new V/STOL carrier to replace Vittorio Veneto. Planned to enter service 2007 or later. Cavour
