Itai

Itai (ee-tai) is a bibilical name. Itai was one of king david's army Generals. He was not Jewish, but rather a Palestinian (plishti - an ancient people that liven in the land of Israel. No relation to today's "Palestinians") from the city of Gat, next to Ashkelon. Can also be written: Itay.
