Islamic View Of Marriage

A legal and social bond between a man and a woman as prompted by the Sharia. Nikkah, the first part, is the signing of the marriage contract. It is followed by Walima, which is the wedding banquet. Divorce is allowed by Islam, however, it is not to be readily sought.
