Irma Serrano

Irma Serrano (born 1927) is a famous Mexican actress, who is known as well for her multiple scandals and controversies. Her nickname is "La Tigresa", or "The Tigress". Irma Serrano has participated in more than 100 movies, plays and Spanish soap operas combined. She was part of an era that many critics have named the "golden era" of Mexican entertainment productions. Despite gaining wide fame across Latin America, a considerable wealth and having multiple romantic involvements with well known Mexican men, Irma Serrano still feels a void in her life, because she has never been able to procreate children. At the age of 76, she still keeps hope of having a baby in the future. Irma Serrano has been known for her public feuds with various Mexican actresses, and stories about Serrano being hard to work with or a tempered person have appeared in some Spanish gossip magazines. She has also been known for dating men much younger than her. In 2003, she dated singer and composer Jose Julian, who is some fifty years younger than her. She did become pregnant with a baby; due to her age, however, she could not sustain the pregnancy and lost the baby after two months. Soon after that, she appeared semi-naked in a famous gossip magazine. Serrano, Irma
