Interstate 990

Interstate 990 is a short Interstate Highway, located entirely in the state of New York. I-990 runs for 6.4 miles roughly north-south. The northern terminus of I-990 is at New York Highway 263 while the southern terminus is at Interstate 290. I-990 does not actually meet its parent interstate of I-90. Interstate 990 serves as a connection between the greater Buffalo, New York area and the State University of New York at Buffalo. Interstate 990 has the interesting distinction of being the interstate route with the highest three-digit number in actual use.
