Interstate 475 (Georgia)The 15.83 mile Interstate 475 (also designated as Georgia State Route 408) in Georgia begins at Interstate 75 and bypasses Macon, Georgia. This is the preferred route to I-75, as the parent interstate enters downtown Macon and reduces to four lanes (two in either direction), and has a 55 MPH (88km/h) speed limit. In the past, I-475 has been planned as a freeway east from downtown Atlanta, Georgia.
