Interstate 220

Interstate 220 is the designation for two tertiary interstate routes in the United States of off Interstate 20. One of these routes provides a bypass to Jackson, Mississippi, and the other provides a bypass to Shreveport, Louisiana.

Mississippi

In Mississippi, Interstate 220 is a loop that provides an interstate connection for Interstate 55 and Interstate 20. The northern terminus for the route is just north of Jackson, at Interstate 55 exit 104. This route provides a bypass around Jackson for traffic going to and from Interstates 55 and 20. The southern terminus for the route is west of Jackson at Interstate 20, exit 41. The route is about 10 miles long.

Louisiana

The Louisiana route known as Interstate 220 is a east-west loop around Shreveport, Louisiana, in the northwest corner of the state. The eastern terminus begins at Interstate 20, exit 17B. The route proceeds north around Shreveport. It meets Interstate 20 about 17 miles west. The route becomes state highway 3132 south of Interstate 20, and continues south and east until it meets Interstate 49.
