Interstate 194Interstate 194 is the designation of two separate spur routes of Interstate 94. Michigan I-194 is a 3.4 mile long, north-south freeway between downtown Battle Creek and Interstate 94 south of the city. The highway has the local designation as the Sojourner Truth Downtown Parkway after the abolitionist Sojourner Truth, who was active in the Battle Creek area. It is the only three-digit spur or loop route off of I-94 in the state of Michigan and coincides throughout its length with Michigan State Highway 66, which continues both north and south from the termini of I-194. North Dakota I-194 is a short spur route from I-94 south along the eastern edge of Mandan, North Dakota. It is not a signed route but has an interstate designation for the purpose of federal highway appropriations. The route begins at I-94 exit 156, accessible only from eastbound lanes. Its original endpoint is at an exit with Business Loop 94 (Memorial Highway) about 1.2 miles from the beginning, but there is now an additional exit at McKenzie Drive a half mile further south. The road continues across the Missouri River and then some distance to a streetlight intersection with Washington Street, where it ceases to be Interstate-class. The entire route is co-designated North Dakota Highway 810 (Bismarck Expressway), which is also unsigned, and that route continues to an intersection with I-94 on the east end of Bismarck.
