Internet Streaming Media Alliance

The Internet Media Streaming Alliance or ISMA is an industry group, made up of various companies, who promote the use and adoption of open standards for streaming media, such as video or audio. Their membership consists of hardware makers such as Cisco Systems and Hewlett-Packard content providers like AOL and other media technology firms like Dolby.
