International Society For Human Rights

The International Society for Human Rights (ISHR-IGFM) is an international non-governmental, non-profit human rights organization with Consultative status to the Council of Europe and Associate status to the UN. The Society was founded in 1972, in Frankfurt/Main (Germany). ISHR-IGFM has more than 20 groups in various countries, and about 30,000 individual members. The Society has own periodicals: 'Human Rights Worldwide' (in English) and 'Menschenrechte' (in German).
