International Society for Human Rights

ISHR-IGFM
) is an international
non-governmental
,
non-profit
human rights
organization with Consultative status to the
Council of Europe
and Associate status to the
UN
. The Society was founded in
1972
, in
Frankfurt/Main
(
Germany
). ISHR-IGFM has more than 20 groups in various countries, and about 30,000 individual members. The Society has own periodicals:
'Human Rights Worldwide'
(in English) and
'Menschenrechte'
(in German).
